My sweet baby girl!

I asked Adam about a week ago to take some pics of me and my baby girl. No time to change clothes or refresh my makeup, but I didn't really care. I just wanted some pics of me and my baby. My favorite thing with Leah right now is her grabbing me by my face, and pulling me closer, as if to say "Pay attention to me momma!" How can I refuse! I am so glad that the Lord has blessed us with her!!!Who needs photo shop with a beauty like her!I could use some photo shop to conceal all of my freckles! My momma use to call them angel kisses!

Missionairies in Training!

Here is some pics of the kids helping Adam in the yard. I know it looks like a jungle! Every time he cuts down a banana tree, I think three grow back in it's place! The kids were eager to help as you can see!

Pool Days!

Here in the Ricker family, due to daddy's camp schedule, the pool days come late! Noah was born in June so there was definitely no pool time that summer. The next summer, when he turned one, I was 8 months pregnant. So there was definitely no pool swimming for me:) And the next summer, we had been evacuated out of our house for 9 weeks due to mold.So once again, pool time was very limited! But this summer has been a little different, even though I had Leah three months before. My parent's have a pool at their house, and I do not know why I haven't taken advantage of it! I finally mustard up the courage to venture out with two toddler's that can't swim, and go at a time when my mom would be there so that she could hold my baby girl Leah. The results were memorable! Noah is a natural! This boy has not had hardly any swim time, I could count them on one hand, and is acting like he was born with fins!He smiles the whole time, even when he swallows too much water! Myah loves the water too, but in a different way. She loves to be held and sung to! When you ask her to kick her feet she barely wiggles her toes! She will let you do all the work for her! I love watching them squeal in delight, and I am so thankful for Nana and Papa Dan's pool!!!

The Grand Canyon?

So this might not even come close to the Grand Canyon for us, but to Leah I think it comes pretty close. The bassinet part of our pack n play has a huge gap or canyon in it, thanks to our little man Noah. He thought is was funny to jump from our bed into the pack n play, thus cracking one of the boards in the padding of the bassinet. So poor Leah has had a hard time sleeping. We moved her back in our room to get her schedule back on track. She had started waking up at 5a.m. and her big sister Myah doesn't usually wake up until 8a.m.. So you can imagine what it is like to have two girls not getting enough sleep (not so fun). So poor Leah has tried her best, but who could sleep when you have dreams of falling off of a mountain or sliding down into a canyon, only to wake up, and find yourself stuck until somebody (mommy) helps you out. Leah had enough of the slippery slope and so had I! Thankfully, Adam has the capabilities like MacGuyver, and can make something out of nothing. He fixed the bassinet.Leah, with an increased sleeping schedule during the day, is sleeping like her big sister till 8a.m.! GLORIOUS!!!If Noah could only sleep that long!

This is a first for us!

It looks like we have a thumb sucker!

Work it girl!

Here is some pics of my girl of her workout this afternoon on the trampoline. Like the typical female, she has to accessorize. I am pretty sure Noah helped put the headbands on her head. Anything he puts on her, she wears it proudly.

Loving the static hair with the two headbands!!!

Work it girl... work it!!!

Excuse my Randomness...

O.k. ... so I had to put one in there of me and my girls!
Daddy and his big girl!
Daddy and his three blessings!!!
Daddy and his boy!
Daddy and his newest one to celebrate this Father's Day with!

Excuse my randomness of pics and posts. Adam bought me a laptop for my birthday so now I am able to upload pictures without having to wait to use his computer!

Pics from Father's Day!

Before Father's Day... Noah turned 3!

Noah is 3 now, although he's looked like he was three years old since before his second birthday. He is quite the big brother, and loves his little sisters dearly, and a little roughly. What do I mean by roughly? Well, to describe just a few examples, he likes to tackle. No, thankfully not Leah, I think he learned that wasn't a good idea when Myah was about six months old. I think when he saw her sitting up, he thought that she was ready for the"Hut Hut... knock down" play, but with Myah's scream (and her mommas :) ) he quickly learned that he should only tackle daddy.
And when he sees that his sisters need a hand, he gives them a good big push. For instance, when it looked like Leah was struggling to roll over today, he helped her by rolling her over himself. With her big screaming cry, I think he learned that wasn't a good idea either. Leah has no idea, and may never know, how her big sister Myah has paved the way for her. Myah has taught him, through her own fleshly sacrifice, how to use gentleness.
But despite his tough love, his sisters look up to him more than he will ever know. He is Myah's best friend, and she misses him when he is gone. And Leah lights up, with the biggest smile, every time she sees him.
I love him so much!!! His hugs, his kisses, his laugh, and the most adorable curly hair ever. I remember when I was pregnant with him, telling Adam that I thought it would be so cool if my boy has curly hair. And God gave me exactly that!!!
